7th Annual Boat Show

This year's MUMfest will again feature the popular boat show.The waterfront at Union Point Park is a special attraction for water lovers and land lovers alike. Boats of all sizes, from inviting kayaks and canoes to luxurious 60-foot power boats are featured. Visitors can get their feet wet with maritime and marine exhibits, boat rides, a water taxi, nautical displays, demonstrations and parasailing. Others may prefer to relax and enjoy the splendid view and non-stop excitement.

5th Annual Hatteras Yachts Family Boat Building Event features family and nonprofit teams constructing their own eight-foot wooden dinghy crafted from a pre-cut kit. This one-day challenging adventure is great fun beginning Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and culminates with a flotilla on the Neuse River followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. Advance registrations and fees are required.
